Jon West is a dedicated PGA of Canada Teaching Professional and Junior Coordinator at Carnmoney Golf Club, where he combines his passion for golf with a commitment to nurturing young talent. With over six years of teaching experience, Jonathan has become a respected figure in the golf community, recognized for his ability to connect with students of all ages and skill levels.

Before embarking on his golf career, Jon spent a decade working with troubled youth, where he honed his skills in mentorship and personal development. This unique background informs his approach to coaching, allowing him to foster a supportive and encouraging environment for junior golfers. As the Junior Coordinator for five years, he has successfully developed programs that promote not only skill development but also personal growth among his students.

Jon is trained and certified in Level 1 and Level 2 TPI (Titleist Performance Institute), equipping him with advanced knowledge in golf performance and fitness. His dedication to excellence has earned him several accolades, including recognition as one of the Top 100 PGA Professionals in Alberta in 2022 and being a finalist for the 2024 Junior Leader of the Year award. He is also a proud member of the 2022 Pro-Junior Champions team.

An avid sports enthusiast, Jon grew up playing competitive soccer and took up golf at the age of 10. He continues to enjoy playing hockey and snowboarding in his free time, reflecting his love for outdoor activities and teamwork. 

With a strong commitment to the game and a passion for teaching, Jon West is shaping the future of golf, one junior golfer at a time.
